Reviews and Ratings
I was really looking forward to my stay, especially given the charming ski lodge vibe, but I was let down by the upkeep of the room and the overall experience. While the staff was nice and attentive, the facilities and dining options left much to be desired. Overall, I wouldn't classify this as a top resort given the issues I encountered.
I wish I could say positive things about my recent stay, but unfortunately, it felt like a real letdown. The hotel isn’t a resort by any stretch of the imagination. The rooms had some nostalgic charm, but they really need updates, particularly in cleanliness. The breakfast was barely adequate, and I couldn’t shake the feeling that the place is struggling financially, considering the state of the driveway and facilities. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend it for a relaxing getaway.
My stay was quite underwhelming. The place is not what I would consider a resort at all, and it felt like it was in dire need of maintenance. On the brighter side, the location is excellent, making it easy to explore the area, and the staff did show some effort in being responsive. However, the lack of cleanliness and bad odors really put a damper on the experience.
The hotel had a few redeeming qualities like a friendly staff and a decent location near Stowe's attractions, but overall, I found my experience quite disappointing. The rooms left a lot to be desired with cleanliness issues and an outdated feel, and the dining options did not cater well to varied dietary needs. I was hoping for a relaxing stay, but the noise and lack of basic amenities made it less enjoyable.
The hotel has a great location that's close to popular attractions, and the staff is friendly and eager to help. However, the rooms were outdated and in need of a refresh, and many aspects of the facilities didn't meet our expectations, particularly due to ongoing renovations. Overall, it's a mixed experience with potential, but improvements are necessary.
